  • fasting blood glucose is 126 mg/dL or higher
  • Random (nonfasting) blood glucose exceeds 200 mg/dL (this should be confirmed with a fasting test)
  • insulin test (Low level of Insulin)

When glucose has been passed through our blood stream, it needs Insulin in order to be injected to the cells to energize the cells for the bodily functions. Diabetic patients have poor amount of insulin in their blood and their cells will be deprived of energy, which will eventually affect organs like kidneys, heart, nerves etc

Marine Phytoplankton is found to be rich in omega 3 fatty acids which might help to reduce the amount of sugar in the diabetic patients’ bloodstream.Marine Phytoplankton also helps to enhance the immune system of our body and thereby lessen the effect of the damage the disease could give the patient.
